History

A.C. 220
A French kingdom known as the Imperial Force began the revival of mobile suits in war by using them to crush rebellion forces trying to overule the Imperial Force's power in France. This angered everyone worldwide. The Imperial Forces refused to restricr themselves from using mobile suits, and the rest of the world was forced to bring back the use of mobile suits as well.

These actions caught the attention of the five gundam pilots; Heero, Duo, Trowa, Quatre, and Wufei. They all met up eventually, and set out on their newest mission to once again stop the use of mobile suits in war. With the support of the Preventers the five Gundam pilots had a chance at succeeding. No longer were they armed with their custom Gundams they desired so much, but their skill at piloting had remained the same. The advantage was still theirs.

A.C. 221
The five Gundam pilots had been successful in all of their missions so far, but the Imperial threat continued to spread their reign over Earth. Later on a new World War(WWIII) would be announced against the Imperial Forces. But despite the support that the Preventers had gained the Imperial Forces still stood strong. They has spread throughout all of Europe, and almost all of Asia. It was also rumored that they were planning to move on to Mars, as well as the colonies of space. This caused the Preventers to go into a hasty speed in ending them once and for all. Many troops were set straight into combat against the Imperial defenses.

Eventually, after millions of deaths and destruction the Preventers forces would break through, and retake most of their provinces in Asia. Their forces seemed to be weakening slowly, and it was planned that by A.C. 222 they would be defeated completely.

A.C. 222
The Imperial Force's power had been reduced drastically in the past year. They have only managed to hold their provinces which surround their origin, France. It was soon to be over, but the Preventers were caught off guard. The Imperial Forces sent out a 1st Class Starship Cruiser which they had unnotically stolen from an U.S. Airforce base, and armed it with the most destructive weapon made for combat, the Galaga Cannon. This cannon was easily capable of whiping out what they were aiming for; Washington D.C. If the cannon were to strike Washington D.C. all of Maryland and Deleware would go with it, and would also cause tidal waves to strike many states on the eastern coast of the U.S. Operation Lunar was announced.

The objectives of Operation Lunar were sounded simple. Troops were to invade the Imperial Starship, and disarm the Galaga Cannon. Of course it was not nearly as easy as it sounded. The Galaga Cannon itself was very brittle, and if it was put through too much shock it would explode, killing everybody on the battlefield. So the troops could not be too agressive in the invasion. The importance of this mission exceeded all the others. This operation would literally decide whether the war would end or continue, and without a national capital for the U.S. the Imperial Force would have the advantage once again. For a mission of these caliber the Preventers chose their five most valuable pilots to lead the march, the legendary Gundam pilots.
